The Global Download System(GDS) is an enterprise Point of Sale (POS) Management System designed for First Data distributed terminal products. POS terminals will use this system for configuration. GDS is designed to be open to all First Data platforms, regardless of geographic location, scalable and secure - as necessary. By utilizing a common User Interface (UI) internal/external customers will have a consistent experience. GDS’s global interface allows for a seamless experience across all channels and functional areas within First Data.
